A healthcare accounting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Billing Specialist in Springfield.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to prepare Medicare, Medicaid and insurance billing
• Maintaining patient accounts

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Required: One (1) year general accounting office experience
• Computer and ten-key literate
• Knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality entries
• Ability to use general office machines
• Good organizational and communication skills
