Job Summary

A business solution company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Billing Specialist Virginia Beach.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Meeting deadlines
• Verifying completeness and accuracy of all claims prior to submission
• Ensuring all claims are submitted with a goal of zero errors

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Regularly attend monthly staff meetings and continuing educational sessions as requested
• Two years' relevant medical billing experience
• Previous experience in filing claim appeals with insurance companies
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and internet resources
• Previous experience in CPT and ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 coding
• Familiarity with medical terminology
