Job Summary
Dedicated to providing exceptional patient support, the part-time Remote Medical Call Center Customer Service Representative will assist patients with prescription benefits, verify patient information, and manage inbound and outbound calls in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and patient support via phone
- Verify patient information and assist with concerns regarding prescription benefits
- Gather and review patient billing and medical information while adhering to federal guidelines
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of recent call center experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and patient privacy practices is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills for remote work issues
- Must have a private, quiet workspace and high-speed internet with a wired connection
