A medical care company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Care Underwriter II.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing pricing recommendations considering company margins, client expected ROI, and market competition
• Delivering these recommendations to the Vice President and Senior Actuary for review
• Working collaboratively with finance, sales and operations

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Math/Actuarial/Economics or related field
• 2 to 4 years of experience in related work
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of medical diagnostic and procedure codes
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to organize large amounts of claims data using sound approaches and principles
