A medical care company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Care Underwriter II.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Developing pricing recommendations considering company margins, client expected ROI, and market competition
- Delivering these recommendations to the Vice President and Senior Actuary for review
- Working collaboratively with finance, sales and operations
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Math/Actuarial/Economics or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in related work
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of medical diagnostic and procedure codes
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to organize large amounts of claims data using sound approaches and principles
