Job Summary
A molecular diagnostics company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Cash Poster.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing EOB's and assign outstanding issues to the correct team
- Maintaining accurate daily, weekly, and monthly cash posting
- Reviewing payors daily to ensure correct posting of ERA, EFT or lockbox payments
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Hands-on experience with medical billing, reimbursement and denial management
- Working knowledge of payment types (i.e. EFT, ERA, EOB, RA)
- Working knowledge of appropriate coding systems; CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS, coverage
- Understanding of State Medicaid Policies and Guidelines
- Experience navigating insurance websites and insurance portals required
- HS Degree + minimum of 4 years of direct cash posting experience at a diagnostics company, lab or medical device company required
