Job Summary

Detail-oriented and compassionate, the full-time Remote Medical Claims Specialist will perform outbound and inbound calls, review prior authorization requests, and verify patient eligibility and benefits while working remotely from home.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls and assist patients with inbound inquiries
• Review and process prior authorization requests for medications and services
• Verify patient eligibility and benefits with insurance carriers

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of recent experience in medical benefits or prior authorizations
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claims, and benefits verification
• Ability to manage high call volumes and multitask effectively
• Must have high-speed internet with modem access
