Job Summary

A provider of surgeon and physician medical malpractice insurance is in need of a Remote Medical Claims Specialist.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Completing initial coverage analysis
• Developing a plan of action on assigned cases in conjunction with defense counsel and supervisor
• Interviewing insureds within performance standards/guidelines

Qualifications Include:

• Able to attend mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials as necessary
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of medical malpractice or equivalent claims-related experience
