A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Medical Coder.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Compiling, abstracting and maintaining patient medical records
  • Documenting condition and treatment
  • Actively coding diagnoses (ICD-9) based on medical record documentation

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • Associate degree in medical record technology or 1 year coding diploma
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC
  • 1 year of coding experience
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology
  • Coding software familiarity
