Remote Medical Coder

Job Summary

A global healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Coder .

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Providing oversight for the coding staff and operations
• Auditing, project management, staff development, quality management and training
• Playing a key part in healing the health system by making sure our high standards for documentation processes are being met

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED (or higher)
• 2+ years of professional coding experience
• Coding certification to include the following: CPC, CPC-H, CCS, CCS-P, CRC
• Ability to identify and code diagnosis codes according to CMS and ICD-10 standards
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment, including Microsoft Word and Excel (ability to create, open, edit and save doscuments and spreadsheets)
