Job Summary

A healthcare networking company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Coder.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform ICD10-CM HCC coding
  • Review and analyze medical documentation
  • Assign ICD10-CM codes

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • Certified through AAPC or AHIMA
  • Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCA, CCS) with high degree of competence in this area with 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of HCC auditing concepts and principles
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving ability regarding barriers to receiving and validating accurate HCC information
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and policy compliance issues related to medical coding and documentation
