Job Summary
A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Medical Coder I in Shelby Township.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Be responsible for coding and charge validation
- Properly identify and assign ICD-10-CM, CPTs and/or PCS codes
- Utilize technical coding principals and APR and/or MS-DRG reimbursement expertise
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Associates degree in HIT or healthcare related field
- One year of Facility Outpatient, Professional or entry level Inpatient Coding experience
- RHIT Registered Health Information Technician or CCS Certified Coding Specialist Certifications
