Job Summary
A healthcare services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Coder II in Brentwood.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Maintaining quarterly minimum 95% coding accuracy
- Following department workflow for service type to include addressing compliance reviews
- Contacting physicians when additional information is needed to accurately code the record
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years coding experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
- Excellent organizational skills and communication skills
- Adept in utilizing computer programs and Internet
- Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently
