Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Medical Coder II in Phoenix.

Must be able to:

  • Code and abstract patient’s records
  • Work closely with hospital staff with regards to coding and assignment of a MSDRG/APC

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Health Information Technology/Management program or AHIMA Independent Study or High School Diploma or equivalent GED for the Certified Coding Specialist
  • Two to three years inpatient and/or outpatient coding experience
  • Current Certification as a Certified Coding Specialist or Registered Health Information Technician, Registered Health Information Administrator or Registered Nurse
