Job Summary
A provider of healthcare revenue cycle management services is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Coder III.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Selecting and sequencing ICD-10 CM, and PCS codes for designated patient types
- Reviewing and analyzing clinical records to ensure that MSDRG assignments
- Abstracting clinical data from the record after documentation review
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Able to complete assigned work functions utilizing appropriate resources
- Able to act as a resource with client staff for data integrity, clarification and assistance
- Able to maintain strict patient and provider confidentiality in compliance with HIPPA
