Job Summary

A health insurance company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Coding Analyst.

Must be able to:

  • Review medical documentation for appropriate ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Query physicians when code assignments are not straightforward
  • Train and educate others on coding

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Requires a high school diploma
  • 1 year of experience; Strong E/M FFS coding background; or combination of education/experience
  • Certified Medical Code (CPC, CCS-P, or CCEMC)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
