Job Summary
A healthcare and insurance company has an open position for a Remote Medical Coding Analyst.
Must be able to:
- Audit and test ongoing operational processes to assure continued compliance with all requirements
- Perform Quality Audits focused on medical coding principles and guidelines
- Research coding and other billing regulatory issues when needed
Position Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in medical billing and/or coding
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- 3+ years of coding audits and/or coding quality assurance (CPT)
- Expertise with NCCI (National Correct Coding Initiative) guidelines
- Experienced in developing analysis of audit findings, creating audit reports, and presenting results
