Job Summary

A healthcare company has a current position open for a Remote Medical Coding Compliance Auditor in Frisco.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Understanding coding guidelines for coding audits
• Creating clear and accurate audit findings and recommendations
• Identifying documentation issues

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Ability to travel
• Ability to consistently and accurately audit coding of inpatient and outpatient encounters
• Ability to create clear and concise audit reports and maintain productivity standards
• 3 years coding experience including but not limited to hospital inpatient and outpatient encounters
• 1 year of experience in coding audit  or quality review work
• AHIMA and/or AAPC Coding Credential
