Remote Medical Coding Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Medical Coding Compliance Specialist.

Must be able to:

• Develop reporting elements and requirements
• Lead efforts to implement updates
• Manage all CMS HCC, ICD, CPT, HCPCS and HEDIS coding requirements/changes as they are released

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Five (5) years' experience in healthcare required, preferably in a health plan setting
• Bachelor's degree in health care or business related required
• Medicare Stars knowledge required
• Certification or equivalent experience in Coding (AAPC or CPC), Medical Risk Adjustment, and HEDIS required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Optum EncoderPro 360
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
