Job Summary

A healthcare services company has a current position open for a Remote Medical Coding Denial Specialist in Denver.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Applying appropriate coding classification standards and guidelines
  • Resolving medical record documentation deficiencies
  • Performing quality assessment of records

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 3-5 years medical coding experience
  • Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CEMC, CPMA CRC ,CPB, CCS-P, or RHIT)
  • Technical proficiency with computers
  • Proficiency with basic Microsoft software, and medical software systems (PM/EHR)
  • High-school diploma
  • Ability to learn new systems, software, and client specialties quickly
