Job Summary

A medical billing company has a current position open for a Remote Medical Coding Quality Auditor II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing medical record documentation
  • Utilizing technology for tracking of coding errors
  • Responding to inquiries regarding compliance, inappropriate coding and denials

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4 years of Inpatient Coding experience in hospital facility coding
  • ICD-10 experience required
  • Experience and knowledge in DRG reimbursement
  • Coding credential required from AHIMA or AAPC
  • Working knowledge of coding guidelines
