Job Summary

A healthcare business and operations provider is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Quality Review Auditor in Denver.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Leading, coordinating and performing all functions of quality reviews for inpatient and outpatient coding
• Assisting in ensuring coding staff adherence with coding guidelines and policy
• Demonstratinge and applying expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts

Required Skills:

• Undergraduate degree in HIM/HIT preferred
• Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of coding auditing and monitoring experience strongly preferred
• Coding Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS required
