A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Coding Quality Reviewer or Auditor in Birmingham.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Leading, coordinating and performing all functions of quality reviews
• Assisting in ensuring coding staff adherence with coding guidelines and policy
• Demonstrating and applying expert level knowledge of medical coding practices and concepts

Required Skills:

• 3 years of acute care inpatient/outpatient coding experience preferred
• 3 years of coding auditing and monitoring experience strongly preferred
• Coding trofessional knowledge and skills
• RHIA, RHIT and/or CCS required
