Job Summary
A regional medical center is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Correctly assign diagnosis and procedure codes
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Skills and Requirements Include:
- High School graduate or GED
- Registration/Certification as a CCS, CPC, CPC-H, CTR or RHIT, or RHIA
- Knowledge of DRG's, APC's, modifiers and other payment methodologies
- 2+ years of hospital acute care coding experience using ICD and CPT coding
