Job Summary
A primary care healthcare technology enabled company has an open position for a Remote Medical Coding Specialist.
Must be able to:
- Perform medical record audits
- Facilitate discussions around Medicare Fee for Service billing with Iora's vendor
- Manage multiple coding related projects and ensuring deliverables are up to Iora standards
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 3+ years as an outpatient risk adjustment coding/auditing
- Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role
- 2+ years of people or project management experience
- 1+ years experience in Medicare/Medicare Advantage
- CPC or CRC certification through AAPC or CDI or CCS certification through AHIMA
- Must have strong experience in Microsoft or Google suite in spreadsheets and PowerPoint
