A staffing agency is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Specialist in Atlanta.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing prepayment claims review analysis
• Reviewing medical records to confirm appropriate medical coding
• Documenting clinical determinations in prepayment review system

Position Requirements Include:

• 3+ years of coding experience  
• Certification through the AAPC or AHIMA
• 1+ year of experience analyzing data and identifying cost saving opportunities                                   
• 3+ years of CPT / HCPCS / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding experience             
• Must have high speed internet and the ability to be able to hardwire
• High school diploma or GED minimum
