Job Summary
An acute care hospital is seeking a Remote Medical Coding Specialist in Manchester.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing documentation for appropriate diagnosis and procedure code assignment
- Adhering to outside regulations and requirements
- Meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards
Position Requirements Include:
- Able to travel to the company - flexibility to do 30-50% work remotely
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) to five (5) years of multi specialty coding experience
- Current AHIMA or AAPC Coding Certification(s) CCS, CCS-P, CPC, or COC
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the software system in areas related to coding
- ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding knowledge
