Job Summary
A healthcare provider needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Coding Supervisor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising daily operations specific to coding and DNFB, DNFC monitoring for assignments
- Supporting coding specialists by discussing complex coding cases and answering questions
- Developing, monitoring and controlling staff coverage strategies to maintain consistent productivity flow
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor/Associate degree in Health Information Management and accredited by AHIMA
- Required: RHIA or RHIT AND CCS credential
- Five (5) years in relevant working field with one (1) year of supervisory experience acceptable
- Strong leadership and communication skills, problem solving abilities
- Good knowledge of medical records systems
- Ability to build and maintain team dynamics
