A healthcare organization is seeking a Remote Medical Collections Representative in San Antonio.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring that claims are processed accurately
- Monitoring aging of claims to ensure timely follow-up and payment
- Coordinating, monitoring, and managing the follow-up on unpaid claims
Qualifications for this position include:
- Related 2 year college/technical school or 3 to 5 years related experience/training or equivalent
- Understanding of medical terminology and protocols
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
