Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing medical interpretation and determinations
- Exercising independence in meeting departmental expectations
- Supporting the assigned work with respect to market-wide objectives
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- MD or DO degree
- 5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency or fellowship
- Current and ongoing Board Certification an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
- A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction and willing to obtain additional license
- No current sanction from Federal or State Governmental organizations, and able to pass credentialing requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
