Job Summary
A managed healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Medical Director in Long Island City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Identifying utilization review studies and evaluates adverse trends in utilization of medical services
- Interfacing with physicians and other providers in order to facilitate implementation of recommendations to providers
- Assisting the Chief Medical Director in the functioning of the physician committees
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy, board certified
- Must be an actively practicing physician
- Board Certification through American Board Medical Specialties. Current state medical license without restrictions
