Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Radiologist for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert medical review for requests to evaluate the medical necessity of services
• Collaborate with peers to ensure proper patient care through evidence-based decision making
• Participate in remote training to enhance knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. with current, active U.S. state medical license and board certification in Radiology
• At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience post residency/fellowship
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and standards such as URAC and NCQA
• Ability to commit to a set weekly work schedule
• Strong computer skills for working autonomously with automated processes and applications
