Job Summary
An employment agency has an open position for a Remote Medical HCC Coder in Mesa.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Review submitted medical records to identify ICD-10-CM diagnoses
- Select and accurately record all appropriate records and data on assigned chart abstraction projects
- Code all diagnoses and services accurately and completely
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2 years of coding experience Medicare Risk Adjustment / HCC Experience
- Active certification through the AAPC or AHIMA
- Minimum GED/high school diploma
- A reliable high-speed internet connection
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door
