Remote Medical Indexing and Intake Coordinator

Job Summary

A worker's compensation management services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Indexing and Intake Coordinator.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Pre-opening and preparing electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals (HCP) to complete
• Scanning, indexing, categorizing and uploading medical records and files to the corresponding Utilization Review or Medical Case Management case
• Performing end to end processing of Utilization Review referrals

Qualifications Include:

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Ability to type accurately at a minimum of fifty words per minute
• Professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Computer literacy with a high comfort level with computer programs / functions, including: MS Word, MS Excel, Email and Internet
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure, time sensitive environment
