Job Summary
A non-profit health care organization has an open position for a Remote Medical Informatics Epic Analyst RN.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, develop, test, implement, and/or provide tier two technical assistance of assigned system applications
- Consult with Epic software representatives, application coordinators, supervisors and end users to configure and build software and applications to meet organizational and client needs
- Troubleshoot problems, offer solutions and recommend a course of action to address the issues and needs of the end user
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or IT, preferred
- Epic Certified in Beacon and/or Ambulatory, Highly Preferred
- Ability to obtain Epic Proficiency in area of specialty within 3 months of hire
- Registered Nurse licensed through the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is required upon start
- 3 years clinical RN experience, or a combination of clinical RN and healthcare related IT experience
