Job Summary

An information technology services and consulting company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Inpatient Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assigning accurate codes utilizing an electronic encoder application
• Performing Peer Reviews of Company Health Information Management coding auditors
• Completing reports as requested

Qualifications Include:

• Certifications required- CCS, RHIT or RHIA (AHIMA)
• Minimum of two years of facility based inpatient experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience- APR DRG
• Pass Coding Assessment with score 80% or greater
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
