Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative for hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze denials to identify trends and recommend process improvements
• Contact third-party payers to resolve claim issues and ensure timely payments
• Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims in compliance with payer policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in hospital billing or revenue cycle management
• Preferred certifications include CRCR, CMRS, or CPB
• Strong knowledge of UB-04 claim forms and payer-specific rules
• Experience with software such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
