Detail-oriented and committed to patient care, the full-time Remote Medical Insurance Verification Specialist will verify insurance coverage for prescription medications, assist patients with obtaining benefits information, and make calls to various stakeholders while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage for prescription medications and assist patients in obtaining medication benefits
- Make inbound and outbound calls to patients, payors, and insurance companies on behalf of patients
- Maintain accurate records, document updates, and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company compliance standards
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent medical insurance verification or benefits experience
- Knowledge of prior authorization and claims processes
