Job Summary
A developer of payment processing products needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Policies Content Analyst.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing coding and industry expertise to help create and maintain clinical coding edits
- Assisting with research to identify opportunities for new medical policies
- Reviewing and identifying changes to medical policies
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or Bachelor’s in Healthcare related field or equivalent experience
- Willingness to pass certification exam within one year of employment
- 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting or 3+ years clinical coding experience
- Familiarity with claims payment, reimbursement methodologies, and medical policy rules and edits
- Ability to analyze complex data and synthesize it for customer and internal consumption
