Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medical Proposal Writer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Utilizing proposal database and previous bids to provide compliant proposal responses
• Editing responses, ensuring coherence of style, proper development of theme and compliance
• Preparing bid sections or small bids as directed

Required Skills:

• Understanding of managed care principles and managed care, insurance, and/or mental health, radiology or pharmacy terminology
• 7 years of communications experience
• 3 years developing original material for publication or competitive evaluation and prior proposal experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to adapt to new, technology-driven tools
• Knowledge of proposal processes; experience writing in the healthcare or managed care industries
