Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Medical Refunds Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes refunds to patient and insurance accounts
• Maintains knowledge of Managed Care Contracts and Federal payors
• Analyzes daily Credit Balance reports and ensures compliance for refund processing

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience in a hospital or medical setting required
• 1-3 years of experience with Managed Care Contracts preferred
• Experience with payer reimbursement policies and healthcare revenue cycle operations preferred
