Job Summary
A financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Medical Review Team Associate Claims Clinical Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Communicating with medical personnel at Long Term Care Facilities
- Obtaining information about the medical status and care needs of the insured
- Making decisions about the care need expectations and benefit eligibility of the insured
Position Requirements Include:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- At least two years in a role that required an understanding of single and cumulative medical conditions
- Able to understand and interpret MDS, POC, Physician Records and Occupational/Physical Therapist records
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Extraordinary internal and external customer service skills
- Work effectively in a team environment or independently
