Job Summary
A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical School Student Experience Team Counselor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing and implementing psycho-educational programming and outreach programs to address a range of medical student needs
- Consulting with faculty and staff on issues relevant to student educational performance, emotional well-being, and psychological functioning.
- Consulting regularly with the Associate Dean for Students in the School of Medicine and Student Health and Counseling Services
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Doctorate in clinical psychology or counseling from an APA accredited program
- Current, valid license as a psychologist in California or licensed in another jurisdiction and licensed in California within six months from date of hire
- Experience providing psychological services to women and underserved populations.
