Job Summary
A global medical technology company is in need of a Remote Medical Technology Reimbursement Specialist I.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating electronic folders for new patients
- Organizing patient medical records in preparation for prior authorization and appeals process
- Answering incoming calls received through the toll-free Pre-Authorization Support ACD
Position Requirements Include:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2-year Insurance Pre-Authorization Reimbursement experience
- Experience working with various payors including, Medicare, Medicaid and Private Payor, as it relates to medical procedures, services, and devices
- Experience building effective relationships with internal and external customers
- Ability to create electronic folders for new patients
- Ability to coordinate with lead and supervisor regarding complicated cases
