Remote Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Operations Supervisor

Job Summary

A not-for-profit health benefits organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Operations Supervisor.

Must be able to:

• Directly supervise 1st pass review of medical records
• Perform or participate in special projects as directed by management
• Oversee the acquisition of medical records from provider offices

Qualifications Include:

• Associates degree in related healthcare field or equivalent years of experience
• 3 years - Progressive medical coding and health care experience
• 2 years - Management and/or leadership experience
• Professional coding certification from AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CCS, CRC, RHIT, RHIA)
• Acquire the Certified Risk Adjustment Coder certificate from AAPC within the first year of employment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
