Job Summary
An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Medicare Advantage Utilization Review Nurse.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing a working familiarity with applicable regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Participating in quality improvement activities as requested
- Following documentation guidelines
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years utilization review experience at a managed care plan or provider organization
- At least 2 years clinical practice in an acute care setting
- 5+ years clinical experience
- Active, unrestricted RN license
