Job Summary

A healthcare company is in need of a Remote Medicare and Risk Adjustment Data Analyst in Pittsburgh.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Performing initial data analysis to assess the quality of incoming data
• Performing data cleansing to root out erroneous data and correction routines
• Performing main data analysis to determine the meaning behind data

Required Skills:

• Understanding of healthcare terminology and data elements and the interface between one data value
• Knowledge of CMS and/or State Encounter Data Submission requirements, guidelines and methodology
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, programming
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
• Working knowledge of medical claim processing rules and industry-standard health data code sets
• Ability to develop user materials
