Job Summary

A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medicare Corporate Medical Director.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Provide insight and feedback to Group Medicare clients and leadership regarding claims experience
• Provide medical interpretation and decisions about the appropriateness of services
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific)

Qualifications for this position include:

• MD or DO degree
• A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction and willing to obtain license, as required, for various states in region of assignment
• Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
• Knowledge of the managed care industry including Medicare, Medicaid and or Commercial products
• Possess analysis and interpretation skills with prior experience leading teams
• All other requirements necessary for this position
