Job Summary

An information technology company is in need of a Remote Medicare Durable Medical Equipment Lead Medical Review Specialist V.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive medical record and claims review
  • Make payment determinations
  • Provide training to integral staff and subcontractors for special studies

Required Skills:

  • Registered Nurse obtained by either a Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree OR Diploma in Nursing
  • 4 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • 4 years claims knowledge either from billing, reviewing, or processing of Durable Medical Equipment
  • 4 years federal and local policy applications in relation to Medicare insurance procedures
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in VA or hold a Compact State License
  • 10 - 15 years of overall related experience and 1 year supervisory experience
