Job Summary
An insurance broker for Medicare-eligible individuals is in need of a Remote Medicare Insurance Compliance Manager in Clearwater.
Must be able to:
- Responds to carrier requests in a timely manner and communicates resolution
- Collaborate with Ops compliance leadership to design & develop Medicare compliance oversight, monitoring & evaluation programs
- Research, analyze, validate & gather business process data to assess the effectiveness of the controls to ensure compliance
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business or Health related field required
- Minimum 2-5 years insurance compliance or regulatory experience, particularly in Medicare Insurance, required
- Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance products & the associated sales, service, claims & enrollment & billing processes
- Previous experience working with health insurance carriers required
- Experience drafting scripts to be used in health insurance industry preferred
- Knowledge of documenting walkthroughs, narratives, and flows for control identification and testing
