Job Summary
A non-profit, faith-based healthcare organization has an open position for a Remote Medicare Patient Accounting Government Billing Specialist in Boynton Beach.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Work/edit daily download of assigned Governmental Program claims
- Optimize timely transmittal of accurate and clean claims
- Protect payer filing deadlines
Qualifications for this position include:
- Degrees: High School, Certification, GED, Trn, Experience
- AA preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience and understanding of all required fields on a 1500 and UB for hospitals
- Government related billing regulations experience
- Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology
- Knowledge of all apps in Microsoft Suite
